Strength:

Thick cables. Quality construction. Good connection to components.

Weakness:

I honestly can't tell a difference between these and $18 cables at kmart.

I recently purchased a new DVD player with Progressive capabilities (Panny CP72) and a HDTV (Tosh 42H82) and thought that the cheap A/V cable I was using as component cables might be holding me back a bit. So I decided to give some RCA cables at Kmart a try. They were $18 and pretty heavy duty, and it *seemed* to clean up the picture. I felt, though, that if I was spending any money at all on cables of all things, I should spend a little more. Well after haggling with a guy on eBay, I came through with the AR MS291 component video cables for $30 shipped across the country. These things are thick! They don't look better than the $18 cables from Kmart, but I know these things will not be affected by interference, at the least. And they look pretty sweet. Hey, these sold for $110 at retail stores, so I'm happy with $30.
