Review 2 of 2 Summary: I would like to say that I am not a great writter, but this is a speaker that anyone that is considering purchasing a pair of speaker in the $3000 to $5000. ranger should listen to in there own home. Dzurko Acoustics is a division of ACI which builds the famous Titan powered subwoofer, of which I have also personily owned and would give it a 5 out of 5 for performance for dollar. The Shadow are a two piece speaker with the mids and tweeter in the top unit and two 10" bass divers driven by the Titan 250 watt amp in the bottem. The finish is a cherry wood lacqure which is nicely done, althought not are nice as the ProAc stidio 150 I had. The speaker weight about 180 lbs. per side. They come with there own spikes to level and decouple them from the floor. The shadow like the titan took a long time to break in, more then 100 hours, but once they were, the Shadow's really sang. The highs are liquid, mids open with great detail. The bass is very fast with oustanding detail and VERY deep. They work very well in my room with out them having to be so far off the wall like the ProAcs. Mike Dzruko is a real gentlemen to deal with, the service from ACI is outstanding, which is becoming more rare these days. My Rating: Service 5+ sound 4.5 finish 4 value 5+ if there was a 10 rating they would get it for value intergating with the room 4
